10 am to 1 pm -Audition for Gammadda volunteers
Gammadda is a volunteer-driven rural development movement started by News 1st and the Capital Maharaja Group. Drop by to find out how you can join in and help empower and assist rural Sri Lanka.
10.30 am to 1.30 pm - Embark Adoption Day
Choosing to adopt gives many homeless dogs a chance at happiness, which otherwise they may not receive. In return you will be rewarded with the heaps of love, boundless gratitude and so many cuddles!
2.30 pm to 4 pm - Groovy tunes from the Melomanic Sessions
A flower powered hippie van will be bringing the talented Melomanic Sessions team for a jam session at the Saturday Good Market as part of the Cinnamon Colomboscope 2017 festivities
3 pm to 4 pm - Kids Corner by Craftellaa Peg Dolls
Kids aged 12 and under are invited to this week's special edition of the Good Market Kids Corner. Craftellaa Peg Dolls will be guiding young artists in creating their very own peg doll. All supplied needed are in an art pack available for Rs. 500.
6.30 pm to 7.30 pm - "How I Wonder What You Are" film screening by Kolomba Talkies
'How I wonder what you are' is an independent film co-directed by Udaya Dharmawardana and Chinthana Dharmadasa released in 2010. It marks a juncture in the local film industry as the first ever independent low budget film that was made. This inspired many local young filmmakers to come out with their creative efforts and initiated a whole new wave of independent films in our country. Join fans and new viewers for a screening under the stars.
New vendor Cactus House Colombo is committed to organic cultivation methods and will be in stall B6 with a collection of cacti and air purifying ornamental plants rooted in home made compost and soil mix all packaged in pots from local villager producers.
Head to stall B3 at the Saturday Good Market for Lime Plain Tea (available in a cup, or in a book!). Sit down, have a read, a sip, a chat and even share some of your own word art.

Visit Dr. PPARs in stall D for their vegan nutritional supplements made from microalgae and grape extract
Ceylon Art Gallery in stall C3 will have a selection of artwork inspired by Sri Lankan rural living. Did you know they have a online store where you can order their artwork?
Cino Ceylon in stall B1 will have a range of healthy, all-natural dehydrated Sri Lanka herbs, fruits, vegetables and spices as well as cinnamon toothpicks, quills and cinnamon leaf oil.
Good Market Shop
The Good Market organic and natural food shop operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise and has products from more than 70 Good Market approved vendors. It is located across the street from the Saturday Good Market in the Lakpahana Courtyard and is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm.
